Gardevoir 049 Model Kit

Gardevoir, the Embrace Pokemon. This Pokemon is the final evolution of Ralts, an early encounter in the Third Generation Pokemon games. The Pokedex listed Gardevoir as a pure Psychic Type until the introduction of Fairy-Type in Generation VI, which reclassified Gardevoir and many other Pokemon as Fairy Types. Gardevoir would receive the Psychic/Fairy Type, while other Pokemon would have their original type eliminated. Gardevoir certainly fits this classification, with a pastel color palette to complement the Pokemon’s elegant humanoid appearance. Gardevoir’s beautiful appearance can be quite deceiving, as it will fight to the death to defend its trainer.

Articulation

Gardevoir is the latest Pokemon to receive Bandai’s Pokepla treatment. This line seeks to provide builders with quick, easy, and satisfying models to recreate their favorite Pokemon. Bandai did an excellent job designing the Gardevoir model kit, creating a fully color-accurate rendition using under 35 pieces and no required color-correcting stickers. The pink sections of Gardevoir’s eyes are molded separately in the correct color, so all you’ll need to do is add some black and white paint to fill in the details. Use the included eye stickers if detail painting isn’t your thing, or use the additional set to display Gardevoir with its eyes closed. This Gardevoir model also provides enough articulation to create a couple of different poses. This model includes an optional set of outstretched arms and 90 degree-bent hands for more expressive and dynamic poses. Gardevoir’s legs are also posable.
