Magic Fall Commander Pre-Con League

A new league approaches! Join in on our Fall Commander Sealed League and test your might in a limited Commander environment! This league will run for six weeks from 8/20 - 9/24. Here are the details:

Participants will receive a randomized Commander Deck* with their $40 entry to play for Week 1. Players will use store credit winnings each week to purchase and add singles of their choice to their decks for future weeks.

*Player order will be chosen randomly for choice of decks. A selection of Commander decks from a variety of sets from the last several years will be available for this event, so there will be tons of variety in colors, styles, and Commanders.

Each week, players will play two Commander League games (in pods of 4), which will include objective sheets with which to score points. At the end of each night, players will receive $7 in store credit. Players will use these winnings to purchase singles to add to their card pool and augment their decks between events. Card purchases will be kept track of via a store spreadsheet to ensure that players are only using the contents of their Pre-Con and singles bought for the event.

At the end of the six weeks, additional store credit (and other goodies) will be awarded to the top overall players in the league! Regardless of where you finish, you’ll get to keep your League Deck and all the cards you bought during the event.

IMPORTANT : Due to the structure of the event, late entries will NOT be accepted – you must Pre-Register (Buy a Ticket on this page) or be here for Week 1 on August 20th to participate! 

Cost: The cost for Week 1 will be $40, which will include entry into the event and a Commander deck for the League. All other weeks will be $10, just like a normal event!

Prizes: Additional Store Credit prizes will be given to top overall finishers and will be based on total attendance.
