During a planetary cataclysm now known as the Confluence, a magical storm swept over the world, merging the imaginary world and our own and transforming everything in its path. A few secluded human communities managed to survive and laid the foundations of a new civilization on the peninsula that would become known as Asgartha.

After a few hundred years, with peace and prosperity finally secured, humanity has decided to venture beyond the frontiers of its home. Six leading Factions have chosen their heroes to lead courageous expeditions beyond the gates, where the Tumult, a remnant of the Confluence of old, still mutates everything in its wake.
