Crossbows & Catapults - Fortress War - All Gameplay Bundle

Crossbows & Catapults: Fortress War is a restoration of Crossbows and Catapults, the 1983 classic game of kinetic warfare. Each player builds their castle, then players take turns using their weapons to fire discs at their opponent's castle, trying to knock over their warrior figures.

This new version features highly engineered weapons, more detailed building bricks, and deeper game play. The new weapons no longer use rubber bands, replaced by spring-powered and pinch-to-fire technology that ensure reliable velocity and reward player skill. On the building side, castles are constructed using a variety of detailed components to allow for larger, more intricate, and more varied structures.

Fortress War also features detailed mercenary miniatures. A deck of asymmetrical tactics cards let you take special actions and recruit mercenaries to the battlefield, where they'll use their unique abilities to turn the tide in your favor.

Our restored version features more varied pieces for more varied builds, including special structures like the jail, turret, sanctuary, and more -- juicy targets for your opponent to knock down. The simple but effective fit provides enough stability so you can build your dream castle ... but enough wiggle to come tumbling down with a well-placed shot.

More than a year of development and engineering went into the design of the bricks and the weapons to create the ultimate experience. The pieces have some heft to give your castles a real feeling of solidity. The fit is stable, so you can give them some height. The sound of the ammo discs striking the walls and them tumbling to the table has to be heard to be believed.

The classic weapons have been re-engineered from the ground up for consistency, reliability, and control. NO MORE RUBBER BANDS! The revamped weapons reward skill and practice. You’ll be pulling off trick shots in no time.
